Create
Nearly all of the controls available on the admin area's write page are
available for use on the front page of your blog. This includes
password protecting post, creating excerpts, controlling comment and
ping status, and more. Everything is setup to have the same feel as the
admin write page, so that it's easy to use.
I am not sure if this is any more useful than doing it the old-fashioned way, but it is a cool idea.
